Yes. You can create a video which plays both amplified and non-amplified footage. To do this:


  1. Open the recording you want to analyze and export
  2. Find the section of the recording which best displays the motion you want to highlight
  3. Locate the Playback Bar, found just below the video window
  4. You will notice blue triangles at the far left and far right above the Playback Bar. These triangles indicate the portion of the video which will be amplified in the MP4. You can adjust the location of these triangles.
  5. With the cursor, move the Playback Position Indicator to the location where you want the amplification to begin
  6. Right-click on the Playback Position Indicator to reveal a pop-up window
  7. From the selections in this menu, select "Set Amplification Start." The blue triangle from the left will move behind the Playback Position Indicator's current location
  8. Use the cursor to move the Playback Position Indicator to the location where you want the amplification to end
  9. Right-click on the Playback Position Indicator to reveal a pop-up window
  10. From the selections in this menu, select "Set Amplification End." The blue triangle from the right will move behind the Playback Position Indicator's current location
  11. Right-click on the Playback Position Indicator to reveal a pop up window
  12. From the selections in this menu, select "Reamplify Recording" and allow the software to process the video
  13. The region between the two blue triangles will be the portion of the original video amplified in the MP4
  14. Click the "Export Video" button  found to the right of the Playback Bar
  15. Navigate to the "Videos" folder to find the exported video (default location - C:\Users\User\Documents\RDI\Videos).


Version 2.5 UPDATE


The method for adjusting the Set Amplification Start and End positions was improved in Version 2.5. From that version on, you can simply click, hold and drag on the blue triangles and move their positions.

Version 3.0 UPDATE


There is no longer a need to "Reamplify Recording" - Step 12 above. This will be done automatically when it is required. This option has been removed from the pop-up menu.
